    running back, return, fr. recurrere, recursum, to run back.
    See {Recur}.]
    1. A coursing back, or coursing again, along the line of a
       previous coursing; renewed course; return; retreat;
       recurence. [Obs.] ``Swift recourse of flushing blood.''
