\Sys"tyle\, a. [L. systylos, Gr. sy`n with columns
standing close; sy`n with + ? a column: cf. F. systyle.]

Having a space equal to two diameters or four modules between
two columns; -- said of a portico or building. See
{Intercolumniation}. -- n. A systyle temple or other edifice.
