L. liquare, liquatum, to melt.]
To change from solid to fluid; to make or become liquid; to
melt. [Obs.]
      The ore of it is colliquated by the violence of the
      fire.                                    --Boyle.
      [Ice] will colliquate in water or warm oil. --Sir T.
