\Stag"worm\, n. (Zo["o]l.)
The larve of any species of botfly which is parasitic upon
the stag, as {[OE]strus, or Hypoderma, act[ae]on}, which
burrows beneath the skin, and {Cephalomyia auribarbis}, which
lives in the nostrils.
