\Pseu`do*neu*rop"te*ra\, n. pl. [NL. See {Pseudo-}, and {Neuroptera}.] (Zo["o]l.) division of insects (Zo["o]l.) reticulated wings, as in the Neuroptera, but having an active pupa state. It includes the dragon flies, May flies, white ants, etc. By some zo["o]logists they are classed with the Orthoptera; by others, with the Neuroptera.
