ph[oe]be}, or {S. fuscus}). Called also {pewit}, and
{ph[oe]be}.

{Wood pewee} (Zo["o]l.), a bird ({Contopus virens}) similar
to the pewee (See {Pewee}, 1), but of smaller size.
