Oliver
Eleven elephants cross the ocean on a ship so that they can join the circus. Unfortunately, once they arrive at their destination, the ringmaster wants only 10 elephants. Poor Oliver the Elephant is left all alone to try to find a place to call home. First he tries the zoo, then he tries to become the pet of a friendly woman but nothing seems right. The problem is, Oliver`s only wish is to become a circus elephant...will his dream ever come true? Color illustrations accompany the text of this beginning reader.
