Kitchener
This biography of Great Britain`s revered, though controversial, military leader tells of his service in the Boer War and as military governor of India--and later as England`s first Secretary of War. Kitchener is credited with modernizing the British army and thus contributing to the allied victory in World War I. He died in 1916.
