  1. \Geor"gic\, n. [L. georgicum (sc. carmen), and georgica,
    pl., Gr. ?, and ?: cf. F. g['e]orgiques, pl. See {Georgic},
    a.]
    A rural poem; a poetical composition on husbandry, containing
    rules for cultivating lands, etc.; as, the Georgics of
    Virgil.
    
  2. \Geor"gic\, Georgical \Geor"gic*al\, a. [L. georgicus,
    Gr. ?, fr. ? tillage, agriculture: cf. F. g['e]orgique. See
    {George}.]
