together; con- + canere to sing.]
1. Concert of voices; concord of sounds; harmony; as, a
   concent of notes. [Archaic.] --Bacon.
         That undisturbed song of pure concent. --Milton.
2. Consistency; accordance. [Obs.]
         In concent to his own principles.     --Atterbury.
