It is noted for its loud laughlike note. Called also {eccle},
{hewhole}, {highhoe}, {laughing bird}, {popinjay}, {rain
bird}, {yaffil}, {yaffler}, {yaffingale}, {yappingale},
{yackel}, and {woodhack}.
