 Definition: 
  1. \Ve*na"tion\, n. [L. vena a vein.]
    The arrangement or system of veins, as in the wing of an
    insect, or in the leaves of a plant. See Illust. in Appendix.
    
  2. \Ve*na"tion\, n. [L. venatio, fr. venari, p. p.
    venatus, to hunt. See {Venison}.]
    The act or art of hunting, or the state of being hunted.
