Koch`s typewriter is given voice here, in a long poem called My Olivetti Speaks, which doubles as an ars poetica for Koch. Also included are poems on the homes of great artists from the past (Sappho, Byron, Dubuffet, Wittgenstein, Frank O`Hara), the long-lined, multi-themed title poem, and a poem called Songs from the Plays, a series of 25 songs from plays that don`t actually exist.
