    {Riveling}.] [AS. gerifled, geriflod, gerifod, wrinkled,
    geriflian, gerifian, to wrinkle. See {Rifle} a gun, {Rive}.]
    To contract into wrinkles; to shrivel; to shrink; as, riveled
    fruit; riveled flowers. [Obs.] --Pope. ``Riveled
    parchments.'' --Walpole.
