Iceman
In 1991, on a hill in Italy, two hikers found a prehistoric man frozen in a block of ice. What happened in the wake of that discovery is documented in ICEMAN, by New York Times reporter Fowler. Through legal motions, scientific squabbling, and political brinksmanship, Fowler traces the afterlife of this mummy, from that hillside in the Alps to his final resting place, in the Museum of Archaeology in South Tyrol.
