Hit and Run
When Jon Peters and Peter Guber were hired by Sony to head up the newly acquired Columbia Pictures they had only produced one unqualified success: Batman . Soon they were at the center of a huge spending spree, from a complete remodeling of the Columbia offices to overbidding on dubious movie properties. Their efforts culminated in such bombs as The Last Action Hero, and I`ll Do Anything . This is the chronicle of their disastrous five-year captaincy.
