All Richard Riley Moncreif really cares about is baseball, especially since his local team, the Boston Red Sox, has just recruited two great new players, Fred Lynn and Jim Rice--a.k.a. The Gold Dust Twins. Shortly thereafter, Napoleon Charlie Ellis transfers to Richard`s school from the Dominican Republic. Richard befriends the new boy despite the fact that many of the other students dislike Napoleon because he is a foreigner.
