Desdemona
Twelve-year-old Desdemona`s life has become a series of mishaps--her five-year old twin siblings put varnish in the shampoo bottle and Desdemona has to get a crew cut; in trying to help out at a party full of political big-wigs that her friend Sherman`s father is throwing, she mistakenly serves dog food as pate; and she keeps running into Mike Harbinger, the school heart throb, at the worst moments.
