  1. \Del"i*quate\, v. i. [L. deliquatus, p. p. of
    deliquare to clear off, de- + liquare to make liquid, melt,
    dissolve.]
    To melt or be dissolved; to deliquesce. [Obs.] --Boyle.
    
  2. \Del"i*quate\, v. t.
    To cause to melt away; to dissolve; to consume; to waste.
    [Obs.]
          Dilapidating, or rather deliquating, his bishopric.
