Baby Blue
In this novel set in 1976, a 12-year-old girl named Blue must deal with the fact that her mother is a victim of domestic abuse. After her husband died, Blue`s mother married a dislikable man named Jinx, whose arrival in the family home causes a lot of tension. Although Blue attempts to coexist peacefully with her stepfather, she soon realizes that her mother is in severe danger--and that it`s up to her to stop Jinx once and for all.
