Pumpkins
When a man discovers that the field across the road from his house is for sale, he becomes determined to buy it and protect it from development. Scrapping together all the money he has, the man buys the field. Now in need of cash, he talks to the field and together they decide to grow pumpkins to help the man raise money--after which he will let the field grow wild. Will their plan work? Illustrated with watercolor and gouache paintings.
