Grump
In this story a mother is feeling grumpy and tired. When her baby makes a big mess involving applesauce and ketchup, the mother cleans up but afterwards decides that it`s time for the baby`s nap. However, the baby doesn`t want to nap. Hoping to get the baby to nod off, the mother reads a few sleepy stories aloud--stories which put her, not the baby, to sleep. Watercolor illustrations accompany the text.
